There are some years coming back to school and getting back into the routine of things can be a bit of a challenge. This year, now that COVID is not so prevalant, our state has decided to open all schools without mandated masks. We’ll have to see about how that unfolds. Anyway, I went ahead and set up my classroom as usual.
When I thought of setting up my classroom, I turned to Amazon! Of course! I’ve bought a lot of things over the years from Amazon for my classroom, because I love their return policy – don’t we all?!? This year I’m kind of excited to try these finds:
By the way, before I start sharing, I am NOT an Amazon affiliate.
- Wireless Doorbell Kit – In the resource classroom, where I teach, we have a lot of transitions to make. So does the regualar classroom. I’m going to use the kit to help intiate those transitions. I’ll attach the ringer on my landyard and away we’ll go! Check out the one I found here.
2. A new bookshelf for my whiteboard. This is actually a magnetic spice rack to put on your fridge. Well, I’m going to use it to display books or just about anything I would usually put on the tray for my expo markers and erasers. It’s a lot of white on white right now, but I’ll fill it up with colorful things. You can find it here.
3. Durable baskets. I’ve bought so many baskets over the years to fit my books in from the Dollar Store or Walmart, but they just don’t hold up year after year. So, I went ahead and purchased ones that will last from Amazon. Check out the ones I am using here. I had to buy several sets for my readers.
4. Rolling Organizational Cart. This is going to be used to organize and store my math manipulatives. It will be easy for my students to access and each drawer has plenty of space. I llike the rainbow one to help add a little color to my classroom. There are other rolling organization carts, but the one I orderd is here. I had to buy 3 to fit the needs of my classroom.
I’ve also submitted my project for donorschoose.org this year for something from Amazon, of course! Can’t wait to share it. Enjoy your 2021- 2022 school year!

Oh, I like the idea with the magnetic spice racks for the board! I taught grade school (German for international kids) and used magnetic marker holders on the board, but I didn’t know about these š
